2026 State 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl 

 Saturday, March 14, 2026: Turner Ashby High School, Bridgewater, VA

Rules

The Virginia 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl is open to all enrolled, eligible Virginia 4-H members with two divisions:  Juniors (youth ages 9 – 13, as of September 30, 2026) and Seniors (youth ages 14 – 19, as of September 30, 2026).  Participants cannot have had their 19^th birthday prior to January 1, 2026.

• Teams should consist of four members.
• Units with less than four youth in either age division may combine with youth from neighboring Units to field a full team.
• Individuals who are interested in participating but do not have a team are encouraged to enter and will be combined with others, when possible, for competition purposes.

Tentative Schedule:

• 9:00 – 9:30 am:  Registration and check-in
• 9:45 am:  Introductions and Written Test
  • Followed by Quiz Bowl Rounds
• Lunch will be available and provided
• 3:00 pm:  Conclusion (tentative based on number of teams)

Entry Deadline:  Friday, March 6^th at 5:00 pm – There are no entry fees associated with this event.

Questions for senior contestants will be taken from the whole packet.  Questions for junior contestants will be taken from Chapters 1-11.
